We are honoured to welcome you to our fifth upcoming women-only Journey Home Retreat in the sacred city of saints, Fes, Morocco!
"The ancient, sprawling medina of Fes, Morocco has been a center of pilgrimage for centuries. Colloquially, it is known by both locals and foreign visitors as medinat ul-awliya, the city of saints. It is a city where the wisdom of Sufi masters has been taught for over a thousand years and where shurafa, the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, have been honoured for their sanctity. It is a city at intellectual and religious crossroads, where students from across the country and region would study Islamic law at the Qaraweyyn University." - Peter Dziedzic.
Four nights of sisterhood, spirituality, workshops, henna, womb healing, meditation, and more, cultivating a gentle and healing journey inward.
Through daily tahajud prayers in a local zawiya, delicious traditional Moroccan home-cooked meals, workshops on knowing yourself, self-healing through herbs, connecting to God and the womb, henna, drumming, and singing, hammam visit, and a tour of the medina/ziyaras this retreat has been carefully curated to give you the time and safe space to learn more about yourself, womb and God while held by a group of beautiful sisters!
This retreat has been curated to be a spiritual and intimate journey. Although there will be opportunities to see the medina, go shopping, etc., we urge those who apply to understand the importance of intention in gaining the most out of the program.

Schedule
Each day has been designed to provide holistic healing & spirituality. The full schedule will be shared after securing your space.
All days begin with tahajjud (Pre-dawn prayers) at a local mosque. Workshops begin after breakfast and each day has a different main activity. Meals are eaten together and all trips outside of the accommodation are done in a group.
We have extremely minimal spaces to keep the retreat as intimate as possible so please sign up and reserve your place as swiftly as possible to avoid disappointment

Accommodation, meals, workshops, activities, and airport transport are all included. The only thing not included is the price of your ticket to Fes. Once you have been accepted onto the course you will receive further details regarding flights.

There are single beds with between 2 - 4 to a room with an en-suite bathroom. This makes sure that the ladies cultivate meaningful and intimate connections with each other by sharing space.

Yes! Airport transport is included in the price. You will travel to Fes with one of our team members and be picked up by our drivers. You will only be traveling with a team member if you book our recommended flight from the UK. Once the group has met together at Fes airport your drivers will drop you off to the riad.

The retreat is 18 +. Please note that you must be comfortable traveling to Fes alone.

Yes! All workshops and trips are mandatory and have been carefully curated to allow you to receive as much as possible in such a tight time frame. Each activity has been purposefully chosen to help you to gain as much as possible in all forms

Yes! We will have a tour of the medina which includes some of the main tourist spots as well as other more hidden women-led spaces including the tanneries, Qarawayn, female carpet weaving, and more. There will also be time to do any local gift shopping too.

The ticket price includes all meals. Most meals are made by the wonderful chef in the accommodation. Breakfasts will be traditional Moroccan Fes breakfasts of eggs, pastries, beans, etc. Lunches will either be eaten in the riad served and cooked by our riad hosts or be eaten out at a local Amazigh restaurant. These meals will be a mix of couscous, tagines, salads, bread, rice etc. Dinners on non-travel days will consist of soups, bread, and salads to allow participants to sleep well and wake up for morning prayers. Please specify any food allergies when filling out the application form.
Any extra hot/soft drinks that you may order are not included in the ticket price.

Fes is an Islamic, spiritual city with visits to mosques as a part of the program. The facilitators are also Muslims and use Islam within their practices. This being said you are more than welcome to attend whatever your religion may be as it will be beneficial for all women.

Making sure that the retreat was affordable was extremely important to us and this meant that we are unable to provide installments or any other payment plan.

Once you have committed to the retreat and paid in full (or the deposit), the payment is non-refundable as your space has been secured. If there is an emergency that causes you not to be able to attend always feel free to reach out. If we are forced to cancel the retreat for unforeseen circumstances you will be refunded.

As the retreat has been organized to provide a healing getaway we are unable to provide 1:1 meetings with each and every participant. This being said, there will be constant support from facilitators during the retreat and if any extra time is needed you are more than welcome to let us know. Any extra time you may need with specific healers can be discussed with said healer after the completion of the retreat. Contact information will be available in the closing package sent out a few days after the retreat has concluded.

Our photographer will be taking continuous videos/pictures/portraits throughout the retreat. If you do not wish to be in the images the option to not be included is available on the application form or you can speak directly with the photographer during the retreat.
Please note that the retreat deposit of 200 GBP must be made when applying for this retreat.
